SUMMARY The Solution Consultant (SC) Level I (BI Support) performs quality assurance testing in relation to Business Intelligence Application Development.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for first level triage of reported functional/data issues in Business Intelligence Applications. 2. Provides training to new users on existing and future Business Intelligence Applications. 3. Employs documentation best practices in all solutions documentation and applies established BLJC and IT processes to the management of all software and implementation projects (Change Management, Application Enhancement/Defect Process, etc.). 4. Coordinates user acceptance testing. 5. Works with business leads, SME's and key end users to assist in defining new business processes whcih leverage Business Intelligence Applications functionality.
SPECIFIC SKILLS 1. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. 2. Strong customer focus. 3. Excellent consulting and relationship management skills. 4. Strong verbal/written communication (English) and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate both technical and general business information. 5. Strong facilitation skills to lead group discussions and solid skills in eliciting business requirements from end-users, including experience with different techniques. 6. Solid understanding of business processes and experience working with similar lines of business as provided by BLJC. 7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 8. Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to adapt to frequently changing priorities. 9. Strong negotiation/conflict resolution skills. 10. Knowledge of software documentation standards and best practices. 11. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, Access or SQL). 12. Experience with Facilities Management / Real Estate software applications such as: IWMS (Archibus, Tririga, Accruent,) CMMS (Maximo, Angus) Real Estate (Yardi, Argus).
