Our client in Seattle WA is looking for a Sr. .Net Development Manager to be part of the Business Technology Services Division. The right candidate will be well-versed in agile methodology, have hands on experience with .net and ecommerce projects, and possess the ability to be a change advisor and to make risk-based decisions. They will be a strong verbal and written communicator and will succeed in a fast-paced, agile development environment. Responsibilities:
Maintain the visible connection between corporate planning and defined project goals and objectives
Manage lifecycle of large vendor projects and contracts
Develop staff and create a team oriented environment, including staff training and mentoring, conduct awareness sessions for changes or deployments, and ensure staffing and skill levels are maintained
Member of company Change Advisory Board CAB and company Architecture Council
Contribute to the budgeting process as well as ensure budget and cost containment; measure financial performance and cost of services
Evaluate and make recommendations for existing applications and practices to determine technical direction
Maintain and enhance strategies, governance structures, and standards in cooperation with the company Architecture
Qualifications:
Ten or more years of work experience in information technology required
Six or more years experience leading, managing, or supervising others required
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or equivalent work experience required; MBA/MS in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel and Access, required
ITIL and or other information technology certifications such as MCSD, MCP, CCNA, MCSE preferred
