The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with the Director of Finance, Physician services in achieving overall financial objectives for the employed physician group. The position will perform various accounting and analytical duties, including physician compensation calculations, month-end accruals, month-end reporting, and profitability analyses. Inperformance ofthese duties, the Senior Financial Analystwill also work closely with physicians, fiscal services, office of general counsel, group administrators, and practice managers.

The primary focus of the Senior Financial Analyst will be physician compensation modeling, benchmarking, payment, accounting, and other operational support activities. The position also requires reading, interpreting and modeling physician compensation contracts. The position will communicate with physicians regarding their compensation payments on a regular basis.


Education, Certification/Experience Requirements:

Education and training normally acquired through a bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related discipline. A minimum of 5 years accounting experience required or 3 years experience and a master's degree. Healthcare accounting experience is preferred.
Attention to detail is essential, asarephysician relation skills.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access is required. Experience with sharepoint, business objects, and other query tools is preferred
