Senior Brand Marketing & Analysis Manager
We are looking for a self starter with proven ability to work at various levels of the organization. The successful candidate will have a substantial level of brand management experience in terms of understanding and measuring a brand and its perception; and recommending strategies to drive brand preference and retain brand strength and integrity.
The candidate will have a passion and proven track record with consumer brands and a desire for making technology relevant to the lives of the average consumer, together with:
Outstanding brand analysis and strategy experience
Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to influence senior leaders and a diverse group of stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with stakeholders around the world
Strong B2C experience gained from working with recognised consumer brands
Strength in management of outside resources (including agencies and suppliers)
A strong ability to work strategically, independently, multi-task and prioritise responsibilities
Creative thinking and innovation
Excellent project and budget management skills
Challenged by being part of a brand turn-around
Passionate about evolving digital technology and culture
Must have a contemporary view of marketing: participation, engagement, involvement
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor Global Brand Campaign Metrics and Provide Actionable Learning: Manage effective measurement and reporting on global campaigns to establish ROI, and business impact. Evaluate campaign effectiveness to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
Establish Brand Value Metric/s and Methodology: Assess, select and onboard a specialist brand consultation vendor (such as Interbrand) to allow us to measure brand ‘value’ and perception over time, and to evaluate ongoing potential brand extensions. Utilize this data to assist in devising suitable brand and marketing strategy to drive the business forward.
Consumer Insights and Cultural/Technological Trends: Research and monitorcultural and behavioural trends to develop consumer insights that can be turned into actions to drive new strategies. These will also be fuelled by an on-going understanding and tracking of key business variables, including:
Business and category trends
Brand health and creative evaluation
Brand ‘profitability’
Qualifications:
10+ years experience in consumer marketing agency or organization specifically focused on brand management (consumer marketing experience is a must and agency experience is a strong advantage)
Experience of managing a brand tracking agency
Prior experience of managing analysis for global brand campaigns and working with international stakeholders
Experience with global brands and work outside of the US (ideal candidate will also have lived and worked outside of the US)
The team member must be comfortable with a level of technology but be able to simplify it so their grandmother would understand it
BS/BA degree or equivalent related experience required
