Scottrade, Inc. has a Scottrade Bank Training Specialist position available in Saint Louis, MO. The main purpose of this position is to assist in the development, implementation and facilitation of Scottrade Bank training programs for both branch and home office associates. Work may be performed independently or in collaboration with other associates on both routine and non-routine assignments.
Responsibilities:
* Facilitation of instructor lead courses on a variety of subjects to both branch and corporate headquarter associates. * Assist department manager with determining training gaps between the skills requirement and job performance. * Assess the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback from the trainees themselves and their manager on their ability to perform their job and to meet job expectations. * Develop training plans utilizing a variety of methods which may include classroom training; and electronic training, which may include simulations, conference calls, workshops and multimedia programs. * Facilitate training sessions utilizing web conferencing and other Multi-media methods. * Work effectively and in collaboration with the Scottrade University team in the integration of training programs into our learning management system. * Produce quality training programs that satisfy the learning requirements of the trainees. * Demonstrate consistent effort to collaborate with Scottrade Bank associates when needed on project planning, development, and implementation and to ensure success. * Research, write and create new training materials.
Experience:
* 2+ years brokerage or financial experience preferred. * 2+ years training experience preferred. * 3+ years experience with Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. * 1+ years experience with adult learning principles, training methods and techniques.
Education:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
