Our client is school district located outside of South Bend, IN. We are searching for a contract speech therapist for the 10/11 school year to work with Pre K - elementary aged children. The therapist will be responsible for a caseload of 40-55 children, depending upon the assignment. The director has some scheduling flexibility and can integrate some older students (middle /high school ages) into the caseload if it is preferred by the therapist. The school year begins in late August and ends in early June. The ideal candidate will have completed a Master's degree in Speech and Language Communication and have a Certificate of Clinical Competence. New grads with clinical experience in pediatrics will also be considered. Salary range is $35 - $45/hour depending upon the experience level of the therapist.
Qualifications: Master's in Speech/Language Communication, C's, a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
