The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a large colony of knockout mice, performing behavioral assessment, and regular lab maintenance. Regular lab maintenance, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, computer analysis/storage of data, and radiation safety. (35%) Pharmacological study of animal behavior related to neuro-degeneration, motor activity, and drug addiction. (35%) Maintain 4 lines of knockout mice colonies, including breeding mice. Separate mice and genotype them by genomic southern or PCR. (30%)
