Programmer Analyst I
Overview :
Under direct supervision and with assistance from more experienced and knowledgeable programmer analysts, develops, modifies, and implements basic to moderately complex information systems that are thorough and accurate and conform to MST standards. Translates customer requirements, recommending system solutions and formulating detailed specifications from which programs are written. Independently researches and resolves basic to moderately complex technical problems. May serve as primary system support for one or more basic to moderately complex information systems.

Key Accountabilities :
Manages day-to-day project-related activities
Produces, drives, and manages project schedules, status, resources, deliverables, issues, and timelines throughout the project with input from the team
Builds team consensus
Has responsibility for the execution and final delivery of the project
Drives, communicates, and manages the risk management process
Conducts post-phase evaluations and communicates ""lessons learned"" and best practices to management
Works with customers to define the business problem or opportunity
Works to establish a shared vision between the project team and the customer
Works with the customer and project team to identify and prioritize business requirements and benefits
Facilitates release planning
May elicit and gather customer requirements to develop functional specifications and verify that they respond to business needs
May conduct business process mapping
May develop use cases for a planned release
May assist or lead with the conceptual development of the business solution in defining and analyzing current system functionality and interfaces
Ensures that customer expectations are met with the product design
May lead or assist with identifying major risks associated with the business solution
Manages customer expectations
Keeps the customer aware of the project status and critical issues and risks
Obtains customer sign off at appropriate checkpoints
Shares information, including system knowledge, and mentors less experienced or knowledgeable team members
May assist with the logical data model, data mapping for conversions, and supporting customer needs for validation and verification of data through query or other tools
Skills Summary :
Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in C , C# and VB .NET
