Participate in the shaping, deployment and implementation of an enterprise-wide Lean Sigma Continuous Improvement program within the operating regions. Own and manage the development, and execution of the LSCI improvement plan that will be developed and deployed across corporate groups. Includes the implementation of a robust project review process. Develop and maintain a project pipeline for the regions being supported. Must integrate and regularly update project pipeline to maintain alignment with corporate and operational priorities. Manage and develop LSCI resources and internalization of LSCI skills across all sites in the region to support the overall corporate continuous improvement strategy. Create and manage the regional and site level deployment and implementation plans for LSCI and integrate those plans accordingly based upon operational needs and priorities. Partner with corporate, regional, and local leadership teams to select improvement areas and build a robust improvement strategy that is aligned given the highly matrixed reporting structures in existence. Mentor regional and site leadership teams in how to apply and manage with LSCI tools and methods. Serve as a change agent for driving culture and improving operational efficiencies using existing methods and data. Mentor local project leaders and support local improvement projects by providing both technical and organizational expertise. Develop, maintain and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact process and productivity improvements throughout the organization. Develop LSCI experts in Engineering, Operations, Quality and other support functions as needed. Develop and maintain appropriate relationships with all customers (external/internal) to facilitate the successful accomplishment of business and sometimes competing customer objectives. Provide managerial and technical leadership for the organization including compliance, budgeting, and planning, selecting, training and evaluating associates. Maintain and develop proficiency in use of LSCI tools and methods. Other duties as assigned by operational and functional leadership.

Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Engineering, Business Administration or related field. 3-6 years experience in Lean organizations in the areas of manufacturing, automotive, distribution, warehousing or other related industry. 3 years of mid-level management experience. Lean and Six Sigma Black Belt certification required. Thorough understanding of process improvement methodologies and tools (Six Sigma, Lean, DFSS, BPMS, ISO9000 and Quality Management Systems, etc.), critical thinking, and change management principles. Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Project, Excel, Word and VISIO (and other process documentation tools) as well as statistical software packages such as Minitab.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 years experience as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, 2 years active deployment and implementation.
