About the Position:The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a possible non-tenure track position, beginning September 2011 at the rank of Instructor.
About the Department:Philosophy Position Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in analytic philosophy (3 courses per quarter). Required Qualifications: * Ph.D. or ABD * AOS in any area of analytic philosophy * Demonstrable excellence in teaching Preferred Qualifications: * An active research agenda * Experience working with a diverse student body and staff * A willingness to teach a wide variety of courses Academic Emphasis:Philosophy Job Location:Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA
