Paint Operations Manager K
This position is in support of 747/767/777/787 Decorative Paint in Everett. Staffs, assigns tasks, and checks finished products and services. Conducts, or has influence upon the people, budget, and business related processes for the work group. The work group consists primarily of non-exempt individuals. Responsible for directing work group activities such as cleaning, surface preparation, application of primers, coating systems, appliques, finishes, and decorative coatings on air vehicles. Work with other managers to deploy employees to programs per program requirements. Work to develop employees. Conduct and participate in people processes. Determine skill requirements. Responsible for work group performance against program commitments. Candidate must be willing to work all shifts and support overtime requirements.
Ensures that air vehicles are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation, systems operation functional testing, modification, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, preflight and postflight checks, release for flight, and preparation for delivery. Interfaces with flight crews, engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.
