OG COE Intelligence Scripter


Exercise support staff for Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) exercises to train Brigade, Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs. Operations Group COE Intelligence Scripter assists with training Brigade, Division and Corps Commanders and their staffs during Mission Rehearsal, Warfighter and Full-Spectrum exercises (MRX/WFX/FSX) with subject matter expertise integrating All-Source Intelligence tasks of collection, analysis and dissemination into MRXs/WFXs/FSXs to ensure that military commanders and other senior leaders who may deploy have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage Intelligence planning and execution. The Intelligence Scripter coordinates, synchronizes, and deconflicts Intelligence scenarios for MCTP exercises. Coordination and synchronization effort is key to exercise preparation and resolving exercise design issues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares Joint Master Significant Events List (JMSEL) injects to build Military Intelligence unit storylines that support the exercise scenario plan for MCTP simulation exercises.
2. As an Intelligence Scripter designs the replication of Military Intelligence aspects of the Contemporary Operating Environment (COE) existing in full spectrum Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational (JIIM) operations in order to develop current, relevant, campaign quality, joint and expeditionary Mission Command instincts and skills in the training audience.
3. Performing the duties of the Intelligence Scripter in planning, researching, developing, and presenting training to exercise support staff while being knowledgeable to address anticipated questions concerning Intelligence from the training audience.
4. Be familiar with Army and Joint doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP), planning and execution at the tactical and operational levels in a variety of Army and Joint organizations.
5. Participate when required in all Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) events: IPC, MPC, FPC, MSEL1/MSEL2, and FPC/MSEL3, IPR-A, B, and C as per the MCTP MRX/WFX/FSX SOP.
6. Assist OTs in oversight and integration of Intelligence storylines/threads with (1) MCTP OPSGPS, (2) JFCOM Doctrine Training Team (DTT), (3) Sister Service training teams. Assist OTs to ensure they have included comprehensive storylines that integrate Intelligence strategic partners into exercises.
7. Ensures fidelity of the scenario design is maintained throughout the exercise period.Provide Intelligence expertise to the Joint Exercise Control Group (JECG) and participate in White Cell Battle Rhythm events during exercises.
8. Inputs JMSEL injects into the exercise, coordinates inter-agency activities in support of the scenario and generates reports as directed.
9. Conducts research in support of scenario requirements for Intelligence Support for each exercise environment. Integrate Intelligence in Mission Command Seminar (MCS) and Academics
10. May deploy to various countries, as required, in support of U.S. military operations.



Basic Qualifications:
Education: a. Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university.
b. U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer Course, or equivalent.
c. Completion of the FA35 Military Intelligence Officer or FA30 Information Operations qualification course.
Desired Experience:
a. Minimum five years U.S. military service.
b. Two years experience in design, planning, configuration, and conduct of large-scale computer simulation exercises.
c. Recent experience in OIF, OEF, or OND.
d. Military assignments in the field of Military Intelligence, Electronic Warfare, or Information Operations/Warfare.

Security: a. US Secret clearance required.
b. Be eligible for a TOP Secret based on SSBI for TS/SCI.
