Position Summary:The Network Management Analyst is a critical member of the Office of School Support’s Network Management Team. The Network Management Team is responsible for: * Designing and coordinating performance management measures for 60 support networks supporting 1500 schools. * Creating and administering metrics measuring key benchmarks in all functional areas that are indicative of network performance. * Providing detailed analytics for Principal Satisfaction Survey results impacting networks. * Implementing the process by which schools select their support network. * Support additional needs relating to the management of networks. Performs related work. Reports to:Director of Network Management Direct Reports:N/A Key Relationships:The Network Management Analyst will work closely with the Director of Network Management; OSS central leadership; cluster leadership; Division of Academics, Performance, and Support’s Academics Office; and the Research and Policy Support Group to ensure schools are able to select a network that best fits their needs, network performance is effectively captured, and measures of principal satisfaction aligned to supports provided by networks. RESPONSIBILITIES * Evaluate effectiveness of current network metrics and collaborate with teams across Office of School Support to revise as necessary and issue monthly network metrics. * Ensure alignment of Principal Satisfaction Survey to supports provided by networks and analyze associated data. * Provide project management support for network re-affiliation process, where schools select their support network, and implement associated changes across budget, human resources and data systems. * Track and monitor movement of schools between networks, managing a database of key information pulled from various sources. * Capture roles and responsibilities of network teams and central offices across functional areas. * Generate ad hoc reports based upon the needs of Office of School Support leadership regarding the various network roles. * Assist with the implementation of special projects, as needed. * Create power point presentations using collected data. Qualification Requirements: Minimum * A master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, human resources management, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, industrial psychology, statistics, personnel administration, labor relations, psychology, sociology, human resources development, political science, urban studies or a closely related field, and one (1) year of satisfactory full-time professional experience in one or a combination of the following: working with the budget of a large public or private concern in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research; in management or methods analysis, operations research, organizational research or program evaluation; in personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, employment program planning/administration, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management, or in a related area. * A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and three (3) years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in the areas described in'1'above. Preferred * Creative problem solver with the ability to perform independent, thoughtful analysis around important educational issues. * Knowledge of statistical software, such as SPSS. * Project management experience; strong strategic thinking and planning skills. * High level of personal responsibility, initiative and motivation. * Extraordinary attention to detail, as well as ability to quickly grasp the big picture. * Flexible, optimistic approach, committed to overcoming obstacles. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. * Ability to present information in a clear, concise and logical manner, including excellent writing and editing skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects at once, work under pressure, and meet frequent and changing deadlines. * Expert-level ability in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Salary:$59,536+ (Internal candidates who are selected for this position and who currently hold comparable or less senior positions within the DOE will not make less than their current salary.)
