SUMMARY MT-Regional Operations Manager's responsibility is to lead a team of 20-50 technicians and maintain and implement technical operations standards adhering to BLJC policies and procedures ensuring efficient delivery and support of technical services to the client.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES 1. Lead a regional team of 20-50 technicians of varying trades and skill set level 2. Develop and lead a team 3. Ensuring employee are in compliance with corporate health and safety standards and ensure that the technicians are provided a regular series of focused tool box talks and specialized safety training as needed (i.e. confined space, elevated platforms, fall arrest, etc). 4. Drive team productivity through motivation, planning, and day to day leadership adjusting to ever changing requirements. 5. Drive quality and cost effectiveness of work through ongoing review of the work orders, some site visits, review of callback issues, etc. 6. Ensure timely and effective delivery of the Preventive Maintenance work, helping balance demand service vs. Preventive Maintenance work, participating in decisions to subcontract as needed, reschedule work as needed. 7. Maintain awareness and drive conformance with all Federal, Provincial and local rules, regulations, laws and bylaws. 8. Develop excellent working relationship with customers and ensure effective client communication throughout the service delivery cycle. 9. Review budgets with set goals and objectives as outlined. 10. Hire quality technicians and team members who possess the necessary skills, knowledge and experience required to deliver efficient and competent high level of service. 11. Ensure that any client satisfaction issues or request are identified and resolved immediately.
SPECIFIC SKILLS . 1. Business Administration diploma. 2. Related Technical Experience & Knowledge. 3. Previous Experience in a similar role or Supervisory Capacity. 4. Demonstrated experience in a customer service delivery and support environment. 5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6. Proficiency with MS Office applications. 7. Demonstrated coordination, organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Ability to multi-task, work within a fast paced environment, and prioritize conflicting demands.
