UHC, an alliance of over 100 academic health centers, has an opening for a Value Analysis Member Support Specialist. This position will be responsible coordinates and supports the activities of the Value Analysis Program, providing direct assistance and administrative support to the Value Analysis Program Sr. Vice President, Director and Regional Directors preparing for VAP site visits, responding to member queries, maintaining the VAP list serve VAP web pages, templates, tools and resources. This individual serves as a key contact for members and meeting and conference call coordinator for the Value Analysis Program * Supports all activities and tasks related to the VAP program and Value Analysis member event cycle: recruitment, enrollment of members, identification of key contacts, list serve and contact maintenance, orientation coordination, meeting planning, member site visits, member queries and follow up. * Helps provide consistent communication to members in the absence of VAP staff. Answers member calls and emails. Keeps appropriate VAP staff informed as to queries and resolution. * Helps retrieve and maintain up-to-date VAP member data and information and accurate contact lists. * Conducts & coordinates periodic VAP web conferences and conference calls. * Assumes responsibility for managing multiple VAP groups and list servers: VAP participants, VAP admins, VAP Steering Committee, VAP Education Committee, and VAP Technology Assessment and Reprocessing Special Interest Groups. * Manages web security for Value Analysis Program participants ensuring member access to VAP web pages, tools, resources, VAP database and list server Job Requirements :
* Bachelor’s degree desirable with a minimum of 5 years of executive and programmatic support experience * Superior Customer Service orientation · Independent problem-solving skills · Analytical ability including spreadsheet experience * Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills · Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities/activities * Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; MS Windows, SharePoint, Siebel, internet navigation and relevant data base software programs. * Word processing or typing a minimum of 60 wpm · Knowledge of medical terminology * Experience in meeting coordination and travel arrangements * Ability to travel on a limited basis UHC was named to theCompanies that Care Honor Rollfor the eighth consecutive year in 2011 and was also noted for training excellence inChicago Magazine's25 Best Places to Work2004 issue.
