Primary Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support at Woodstock General Hospital so that contractual commitments are met, which includes but is not limited to:
Maintenance and repair of the following systems but not limited to:
. Air-handling systems (FCU, AHU and Central Systems),
. General break downs on mechanical and air-conditioning systems,
. Inspection and testing of fire dampers
. Inspection and testing of fire system interface (in coordination with specialised fire contractors)
. Fans i.e. toilet, kitchen, car park exhaust, specialist, supply and return
. Mechanical repairs to kitchen equipment (excluding specialised such as microwave)
. Low level mechanical repairs and maintenance to cool rooms and fridges (excluding specialised requirements such as re gassing)
. Air compressors
. Low level fire system works .i.e. isolation for works
. Low level maintenance of data room systems (excluding specialist manufacturers requirements)
. Support for generator maintenance and testing i.e. attendance of testing and witnessing required change over's
. Low level BMS interaction .i.e. adjusting set points, printing reports & isolation
· Plan and document maintenance and repair activity as per contractual requirements and relevant guidelines, legislation and codes.
· Participation in on site roster to ensure appropriate site coverage as per contractual compliance
· Weekly assistance to other trades
· Customer relationship management and satisfaction
· Ensure safety of staff and public using the facility.

. Avoidance of abatement events
. Maintenance and repair of previously described systems
. Retention of maintenance and repair documentation
. Effective participation in on site roster
. Effective interaction to site PMS
. Effective interaction to Help Desk
. Effective interaction with other team members
. Effective compliance to repair works process
. Effective Customer Interface
. Effective Public Interface
. Site Safety including site safety Manual, Reporting near misses, incidents and other opportunities for improvement, Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures
. Contractor Management
. Ensure clean and tidy plant rooms and maintenance areas
. Additional works for project and spot work
Basic Qualifications
* Graduated Maintenance Mechanic.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
* Immunization as required the Client and in accordance with the Public Health Act.
Preferred Qualifications
* Good knowledge of Mechanical systems and electrical systems
* Safety training and awareness courses are a definitive asset.
* Must have a driver's license and a clean driver's record.
* Bondable.
* Proficient Computer skills (MS Office).
* Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
