JOFEC Manager
Northrop Grumman Technical Services Sector is seeking a JOFEC Manager. Must have the technical knowledge of tactics, techniques and procedures, employment capabilities of joint fire support. Must possess an in depth knowledge of joint operations and joint fire support procedures. Provides analysis and leads subject matter review for courseware associated with Joint Operational Fires and Effects. Extensive Combat Arms and Joint background required. Lead technical aspects of tasks and projects. Military experience with fires and effects cells at the Div, Corps/MEF, CWC, and joint level essential. Demonstrate skill and ability to perform complex professional defense research and analysis tasks to develop innovative solutions to joint fires related issues. Manager the JOFEC team of instructors in all facets of joint operational fires.
Basic Qualifications:20 years military experience in fire support training and leadership positions. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present joint fires related presentations and topics. Applicant must be computer literate with the ability to use standard office applications. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. Possess a minimum of 2 years joint fires experience or 2 years experience working on a joint level staff. Must have a Bachelor's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent joint operational fires experience in support of OIF/OEF. Graduate of JPME I and II. Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine. May have specialized expertise in managing, planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises, including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after action review and analysis.
