The Business Analyst is responsible for partnering with multiple IT and business teams in order to evaluate and understand complex business problems, their technical implications and potential solutions. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have a demonstrated ability to comprehend complex technical systems. Must bring a strong desire to grow within this initial role into broader set of business analyst responsibilities.
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills; Familiar with relational database concepts; Proven Initiative; non-industry specific IT concepts, practices, procedures, models, and theories; Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; Report writing experience; Ability to build and manage relationships with clients.
Understanding of and experience utilizing MS Office tools.
Creation of formal and informal communications to all levels of a Fortune 200 IT Department.
Identifying opportunities for improving existing processes and implementation of changes.
Ability to partner with multliple business units to provide a deep technical understanding of the computer systems that support their activities.
BA/BS in a business or a technical discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, accounting) or comparable experience. Demonstrated experience utilizing Sharepoint lists and standard spreadsheets tools to perform business analysis and reporting.
