A member of our Technical Services Division, located in Suffolk, VA, has an opportunity for a
Intelligence Collection Manager/Event Planner to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Work as a member of a Northrop Grumman TS team supporting the USJFCOM Joint Warfighting Center (JWC). We are seeking a highly motivated person to serve as a Intelligence Collection Manager/ Event Planner to provide Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) and collection management (CM) support to the command's intelligence exercise production mission areas. Plans, researches and updates multi-intelligence data calls related to ISR/CM. Represents ISR/CM equities in all joint exercise life cycle events and forums. Develops pre-event ISR/CM scenarios and start-ex documentation. Performs analysis and reviews of National/Theater/Agency ISR/CM tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) with latitude for exercising independent judgment. Reviews and revises operational/emerging methodologies related to Collection Requirements Management (CRM), Collection Operations Management (COM), and Tasking, Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (TPED) activities and applies these in an exercise environment. Advise/assist U.S. government action officers in the design, planning, preparation, execution, and analysis of intelligence portions (specifically ISR and CM) of JCW hosted/supported joint exercises, events, and special projects. Identify intelligence related exercise and training objectives; coordinate/integrate Intelligence requirements with scenario, Master Scenario Event List managers, opposing forces, and other members of the exercise/event planning team as required. Assists in the creation of intelligence products in support of the ""Road-to-crisis"", scenario, and pre-exercise databases. Provides support by developing, coordinating, and presenting exercise-related training, documents, multi-media presentations, and after-action reports. During exercise/event execution serves as a staff member of the Intel Support Cell often working 12 hour shifts.
Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Bachelors degree required
• Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills required
• Minimum two to three (2-3) years experience working ISR and CM
• Must have a current SBI to support a TS/SCI work center environment
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience using PowerPoint, MS Word, and Excel
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills are absolutely essential
• Requires seven to ten (7-10) years of former military and/or government Intel experience
• Must be able to travel unassisted to CONUS and foreign locations. Estimated travel 25% of the year
• Must be able to perform 12 hour watches and work weekends when required by the exercise schedule
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current and active U.S. Top Secret level security clearance with SBI to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Hands-on experience with computer assisted exercises is a plus.
• Current operational experience working ISR and CM is preferred.
• Experience working joint/combined exercises at the COCOM and JTF levels is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of collection tasking systems (i.e. Planning Tool for ISR, Synchronization Management (PRISM), Geospatial Intelligence Management System (GIMS) is highly preferred.
