Job Title Instructor of Statistics Job Requisition ID 26487BR Department 835090:ECAS: Quant Theory & Method Full/Part Time Full-Time Regular/Temporary Regular Minimum Hourly $ 0 Midpoint Hourly $ 0 Minimum Annual $ 0 Midpoint Annual $ 0 Job Description The Institute for Quantitative Theory and Methods invites applications for a full-time undergraduate statistics instructor position starting Fall 2012. The instructor is expected to teach two sections of introduction to statistics per semester. This is a temporary appointment for the 2012-13 academic year, with a possibility of yearly renewal. Salary and fringe benefits will be competitive.
Applicants should have a minimum of a Masters in statistics or a Ph.D. with an emphasis on statistics in a related field (e.g., economics, anthropology, psychology, political science, or sociology). Candidates should have completed their degrees by Fall 2012. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vita, writing sample, official transcript, and three letters of recommendation sent electronically. We will begin the review process February 1, 2012 and the process will close once the position is filled. Women and minorities are particularly encouraged to apply.
