| If you are a teacher in search of a meaningful classroom instructional experience in rural Saskatchewan, we have a wonderful opportunity for you! If you possess the education and experience identified below, you will be considered for employment with North West Regional College. The EAL learning program is designed for recently immigrated employees of Battlefords businesses, as well as their family members. The Instructor must exhibit an appreciation of, a sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse academic environment, inclusive of students of varying social, economic, cultural, ideological and ethnic backgrounds. The successful candidate will have a four-year university degree and/or the Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language as well as a minimum of one year experience working with adult literacy or ESL programming. The Instructor will have above average computer skills as well as a strong orientation to student success and satisfaction. The employment dates for this assignment are September 8, 2010 to June 22, 2011. The student contact times are Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Starting rate of pay is between $35.68 and $56.45 per hour depending on education and experience.
