Functional Areas Sales & Sales Management City Livermore State/Province California [CA] Title Inside Sales Representative Req # 08349 Position Overview The Inside Sales Rep/ Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships and engraining themselves in the business of our existing customers. Through a consultative approach, the focus will be on increasing sales in the form of add-on products, peripherals/hardware, upgrades and services.
Working with an account base of 100+ customers, the Inside Sales Rep/Account Manager will provide outstanding customer service while driving sales through strong customer relationships and proactive account management.
Responsibilities: . Provide consultation to customers regarding the purchase of both software and hardware products. . Educate customers on the value and necessity of add-ons/peripherals. . Present and market Activant's customer-centric sales model . Work with internal sales and operational groups to ensure customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently . Keep updated on product and industry knowledge . Attend product training as required . Maintain a stellar relationship with peers and sales team.
QUALIFICATIONS . 2-5 years proven sales experience with a high level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building. . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills . Ability to work both individually and in a team environment . Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment . Proficiency in MS Office tools - Outlook, Word, Excel. . Experience in a sales position or technology industry preferred
