Job Description
1. Create and champion strategic plans to promote Baxter Orthobiologics presence within EMEA. Work with other regional leads to optimize product portfolio and business opportunities.
2. Through various market research methods, maintain detailed understanding of top performing countries within region. Prioritize growth opportunities, by country.
3. Protect current Orthobiologics market share from all relevant competitive threat.
4. Benchmark all competitive product/activity, local and foreign in origin; synthetic, and or allograft in nature against current portfolio and future needs.
5. Develop / execute tactical marketing plans/programs focused on promoting Baxter Orthobiologics portfolio, and driving revenue growth.
6. Identify product / market synergies (e.g. Spine surgery) and work with counterparts in other areas of BioSurgery to optimize Baxter Global presence.
7. Through market research, R&D, and BD, develop and optimize region (or country) appropriate BioSurgery sub-franchise product portfolio. Lead teams as needed to achieve/drive market clarity.
8. Develop / utilize knowledge of regional and country trends in insurance and government subsidized healthcare.
9. Work closely with Franchise regional lead, country BU Lead and Marketing to optimize pricing, sales budget and forecasting.
10. Develop and foster regional relationships with KOL's in the Spine and Orthopedic surgery space. Seek and promote cross-collaborative opportunities to utilize KOLS in other regions and countries.
Job Requirements
Understanding of clinical indications related to orthopedic and spine anatomy. Solid ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data. Ability to develop and execute communication plans and messaging and branding campaigns. Skills in the areas of pricing, reimbursement, and creative product/program development. Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen. Track record in leading projects to successful completion. Experience with EMEA medical device markets helpful.
BA, BS with MBA preferred, plus five to eight years experience in marketing, business, engineering or relevant field. Background in medical device and orthopedic biologics highly preferred. Exposure to surgical orthopedic implant environment. Experience with international markets. Successful track record of new product launches and managing projects within multiple countries. Experience with creating, executing, strategic and business development plans helpful.
