Health system in Maryland is seeking a Billing System Analyst for its Corporate Business Office.
Under general supervision, the incumbent will provide system support to the department consisting of in-depth EPIC Resolute Professional Business System product knowledge.
Will also be responsible for the generation of customized reports in Clarity, database / directory maintenance, assistance with training, system troubleshooting, and claims transmission.
Some specific duties include: creation of complex operational and project-related customized reports for the department in EPICs Clarity Crystal Reports, including analysis of need, configuration and testing; analyzing, developing, testing and maintaining specialized, non-HL7 interfaces, including report generation.
Prior experience in Accounting jobs, Patient Financial Services Director, Business Office Manager jobs, Patient Financial Services jobs , Billing Manager job a plus.

Work Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required;
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Finance or Healthcare is preferred;
5 years experience working with the implementation of a billing system, including the design, creation, and reports of a cache database is required;
3 years insurance billing and revenue cycle management experience required; experience in Resolute Professional Billing, Prelude, Cadence and Ambulatory experience is required.
Must be EPIC Clarity certified within one year.
Should also have detailed knowledge of insurance company rules and regulations, CPT and ICD-9 coding, and medical necessity requirements.
Prior experience in Billing System Analyst jobs, Accountant jobs, Financial Services Jobs , Patient Financial Services, Billing Manager jobs, Business Office Manager jobs a plus.
Salary: ÂÂ
Salary is $60,000 - 80,000, dependent on qualifications and experience, with salary midpoint at $70K.
