RESPONSABILITIES AND DUTIES: .Coordinate, design, set-up and validation of production lines to meet schedule and quality requirements .Design and setup fixtures and tooling as needed to support processes .Assist New Product Development Engineers to ensure designs are manufacturable .Develop visual aids, flow charts and standard work .Perform time studies and processes improvements .Analyze and correct Bill of Materials (BOM) .Identify and optimize current and new manufacturing processes .Develop manufacturing documentation and validation reports .Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of processes and related equipment .Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products .Develops and maintain CNC programs .Apply statistical methods and perform product/processes analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, improved efficiency and safety .Implement Lean Manufacturing Techniques: Kaizen, SMED, Poka Yoke . Must be able to communicate and conduct presentations in English to US management * EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: * B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering * Minimum of 5 years of experience managing production programs and/or supervising personnel * Strong organizational, follow thru skills and work ethics. * Strong follow up and communications skills * Intermediate-to-expert level with computer functions, including working in a Windows environment with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook. * AutoCAD, Mastercam * Ability to recognize and drive change in areas of potential or actual weakness in yourself, the team or the company in general. * Bilingual English/Spanish (90% Min)
