Position: Energy Efficiency Training Specialist Beginning Date: Immediately Reports To: Corporate College Coordinator About the Position: The purpose of this position is to deliver and coordinate specifically designed Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy training programs for Project Prosper (Pathways Out of Poverty) participants. Minimum Qualifications: " Associate's degree. " Experience in related area. " Valid driver's license. Job Responsibilities: " Work with project partners and regional industry to develop training programs for participants. " Assess the need and develop training and curriculum in the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy sector for on the job and apprenticeship opportunities. " Initiate and follow up with business contacts and prospective students. " Maintain confidential participant records. " Assist with the development, organization, and preparation of training materials, lesson plans, supplies and equipment. " Tutor students in specific content areas or practical application. " Use excellent communication and human relations skills. " Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality. Employment Conditions: This is a full-time, grade 6, administrative position through December 20, 2011. Starting salary commensurate with education and experience. Benefits include health, dental, long-term disability and life insurance; retirement, tuition waiver; vacation, sick leave and holidays.
