Description
The Enterprise Client Executive supports consultants who manage client accounts by researching, analyzing, and evaluating data from medical, dental, life and disability benefits plans and programs for employers with 25 - 500 employees. To fulfill this role, the Enterprise Client Executive will handle a variety of tasks on the following topics:
* Request for Proposals (RFPs): To complete the RFP process, the analyst gathers the health benefits information from a variety of sources (such as hard files, electronic files, the client and carriers), coordinates responses from the carriers and inputs data and maintains all appropriate documentation. * Client Management: Attends client strategy meetings, prepares agendas for client meetings, supports client team projects and deadlines, establishes necessary carrier/vendor relationships with appropriate contacts, and resolves service or claims issues. * Summary Plan Description (SPD) Reviews: Reviews the SPD from the carrier and compares it to the client's benefits for accuracy; follows up with the carriers to make any necessary changes are made. * New Business Development: Generates expansion sales through existing clients and supports the sales professional's efforts with prospects. * Benchmarking: Gathers health benefits data from a national survey administered and published by Mercer, inputs it into a standardized template and compares a client's medical and dental plan information to other companies by industry or geography and provides the information to the client. * Open Enrollment: Assists with developing employee communications for clients' open enrollment process. Coordinates new plan implementation process and facilitates open enrollment employee meetings.
Qualifications
* BA/BS degree is preferred * Minimum 4 years health benefit experience required * Strong analytical and mathematical skills; strong command of Excel * Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills * Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment * Ability to work independently and on a team * State Life Accident & Health License must be obtained within three months of hire date
