Electrical Engineer-spectrophotometers/electro-optical /printing

Responsibilities:
-> Perform duties to manage, manufacture, design and develop spectrophotometers for the digital printing industry
-> Recommend design changes based on results of prototype and production hardware tests. Communicate changes with suppliers. Implement changes for the product.
-> Manage all technical communications with engineers, suppliers, and customers.
-> Design and conduct tests, and perform lab set up, data acquisition, computerized data analysis, presentation of results and other evaluations for prototype and pre-production hardware.
-> Work with a small team to design, build and/or modify a CPU based mother board and A/D detector board.
Requirements:
-> Knowledge of electro-optical circuitry based on visible light source.
-> Knowledge of Excel for data analysis is a plus.
-> Familiarity with hardware manufacturing process - mechanical and electrical - is a plus.
-> Ability to work independently, take initiative, champion and present justification for new program ideas
-> Ability to manage projects on time and on budget.
-> Interpersonal skills -- can work effectively with others
-> Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
-> Organized, strong attention to detail, ability to set objectives and priorities, sense of urgency.
