    Founded in 1955, AllHealth Network provides professional, culturally inclusive mental health and substance abuse services, including outpatient services such as individual, family, marital and group counseling and psychiatry plus a full range of specialized programs including an acute treatment unit, program for those with severe and persistent mental illness, and more.

    Crisis Evaluator

    Position Summary:

    This position is part of the Crisis Response Team. This team member is available for response to crisis situations in all AllHealth Network locations and a variety of community settings. After hours, weekend and on-call time is required.


    1. Education: MA/MSW and Licensed required in Mental Health Field

    2. Experience: One year experience providing crisis interventions preferred. Knowledge of psychiatric assessment procedures, short-term and solution focused psychotherapy theory and techniques, community resources, etc.

    3. Skills: Ability to work closely with physicians and other community professionals; articulate evaluations and assessment findings as will as treatment plans; develop coherent, time-limited and solution-focused treatment plans; compromise and negotiate within and across agency boundaries; provide mental status examinations; diagnosis and treat mental health disorders; provide short-term, solution-focused individual and family psychotherapy, etc.

    4. Other: Ability to lift equipment and supplies up to 15 lbs. Must possess own transportation, have a good driving record, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.


    1. Perform bio-psychosocial mental health assessments, including mental status evaluations. These assessments may take place at AllHealth Network locations and/or in the community such as in hospitals emergency rooms, police stations, jails, juvenile detention facilities, courts of law, homes, etc. Provide clinical interventions and make appropriate dispositions based on bio-psychosocial findings.

    2. Participate in the development of plans to meet the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults; including their respective families.

    3. Provide joint evaluation and assessment services with community partners including Human Services, police and sheriff departments, schools, probation, detention, etc.

    4. Refer for ongoing services both within AllHealth Network or to community agencies as appropriate,

    5. Provide consultation services to AllHealth Network staff and staff of community agencies regarding the mental needs of their clients.

    6. Provide court-ordered mental health evaluations and pre-screening in detention facilities.

    7. Expected to demonstrate a customer services focus, good communication, and professionalism with consumers, co-workers and outside agency personnel in order to provide high quality services and to enhance community relationships.

    8. Participate in the Crisis Response Team meetings, AllHealth Network meetings as required, All Staff meetings, trainings and individual and group supervision as required.

    9. Complete all required clinical and administrative documentation accurately, legibly, and by established timelines on agency computer system and paper as needed. Notes are to be entered the same day the service is provided.

    10. Complete and follow through with financial and clinical information necessary to ensure reimbursement for services provided to consumers by all payers.

    11. Expected to follow all AllHealth Network clinical policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including those related to confidentiality, release of information and record keeping.

    12. Perform other duties within the scope of the position and the experience of the employee as may be requested or required by Supervisor.
