Minimum Qualifications CDA or equivalent or 9 college credit hours in early childhood education and related experience.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field; experience in a program accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Anticipated Start Date Special Instructions to Applicants Successful applicants/employees must meet applicable sections of Chapters 402 and 435 F.S., which includes provisions requiring fingerprinting, tuberculosis test, criminal record check, employment history check, mandatory training, etc. Finalist shall be required to complete additional background and application documents. Work hours: Anticipated hours of operation for the Center will be 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Work hours will be scheduled around the Center's operations and will vary based upon the needs of the center. Occasional evening or weekend working hours are possible depending upon the needs of the Center. The position may require extended work hours and a person able to function under pressure. Successful candidates must have the ability to lift up to approximately 30 pounds and be able to sit, kneel, stand, walk and get up and down repeatedly throughout the day. This is a temporary non-benefit earning position.
