Position: Director of Information Systems Beginning Date: Immediately Reports To: Dean of Information Technology About the Position: The purpose of this position is to manage, utilize and maintain the data, systems and structures of the College's management information system Minimum Qualifications: "Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related area. "Work experience in IT management or related area. "Valid driver's license.
Job Responsibilities: "Manage and implement the aspects of the Datatel Colleague system. "Support the College's strategic objectives with innovative, effective uses of information systems and data structures. "Plan, prioritize, and direct information systems tasks and projects. "Develop service level agreements and measurable-reportable metrics for support of the College's technology needs. "Manage the Information Systems resources including budget, personnel and equipment. "Develop and implement end-user training. "Design and develop reports from the MIS system. "Evaluate, develop and deploy effective reporting strategies for the MIS system and related databases. "Supervise, evaluate and train staff. "Use excellent communication and human relations skills "Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality.
Employment Conditions: This is a full-time, grade 10, administrative position with a starting annual wage of $60,159.
