Decision Support Analyst Department: Physician Billing Service Schedule: Full-Time Shift: Hours: 8:30a-5p Job Grade E8 Job Details: * College Graduate (BS/BA) required * Job Summary The Decision Support Analyst is responsible for providing analytical support to the Physician Billing Service(PBS). The primary focus of the position will be to extract data from patient accounting and other information systems for analytical and monitoring activities. The position will also perform ad hoc analysis of data to assist in improving the physician practice revenue cycle and the efficiency of PBS. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Management Science, Business Administration or related field required. Must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Access. experience with Precision XP, Crystal Reports, business objects or other SQL reporting tools is required. Experience with Centricity Business/IDX or similar patient accounting applications preferred. Experience with Monarch preferred. Some accounting or financial knowledge preferred. Prior professional work experience preferred. Healthcare experience a plus.
