Position: Dean of Students Beginning Date: Immediately Reports To: Vice President of Instruction and Student Services About the Position: The purpose of this position is to develop, coordinate, evaluate, and administer the programs and activities serving WITCC students including admissions, registration, advising, records management, financial aid, student success center, library, TRIO Student Support Services, career counseling, placement testing, housing, student activities and adult literacy. Minimum Qualifications: "Master's degree in related field. "Experience in related field. "Valid Driver's License. Job Responsibilities: "Direct all functions of Enrollment Services (admissions, registration, financial aid, and records) and Student Services (TRIO student support services, career and personal counseling, CPT assessment, student disability services, tutoring, student success center, adult literacy and student life). "Develop and recommend policies, and procedures that pertain to maintenance of student records, student housing, financial aid and student discipline. "Prepare reports to the administration and the Board of Directors regarding enrollment, student concerns and other related matters. "Review and evaluate tuition refund appeals and make appropriate decisions. "Promote a cooperative working relationship with Instruction/Academic Affairs. "Develop and monitor budget and strategic plans for Student Services areas. "Supervise, evaluate and train staff. "Serve as an advocate for students. "Coordinate graduation exercises. "Serve on Executive Council. "Use excellent communication and human relations skills. "Use database and software applications to create and manage files and communicate requested information, maintaining confidentiality.
Employment Conditions: This is a full-time, grade 14, administrative position with a starting annual wage of $82,694.
