Responsibilities TITLE: CT Technologist STATUS:Contingent LOCATION: Henry Ford Macomb Warren (Warren, MI) SHIFT: Rotating Shift Variable Contingent hours including Weekend, afternoon and midnight coverage
Under general supervision, performs magnetic resonance imaging studies using a magnetic resonance imaging device, which includes preparing patients, positioning, setting imaging parameters, and performing computer processing and displaying images. Assists in developing protocol for patient studies. Performs quality control procedures on equipment.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and advanced registered or registry eligible for the advanced ARRT registry in MRI.
PREFERRED SKILLS
An ideal candidate will have a min of one year of experience performing CT scans.
Two years of experience in Radiography is recommended but not mandatory. Must maintain the required hours of continued education. Healthcare Provider certification required.
