Brief Description
Develops courseware to support new and existing products, often though not exclusively in conjunction with Product Division.
Detailed Description
Coordinate and evaluate development contributions from other courseware development team members. Develop certification questions for use in the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) exams. Solicit & incorporate feedback from reviews and training events. Deliver training at train-the-trainer and pilot events.
Job Requirements
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Bachelor*s Degree in Computer Science or Instructional Design. Four years adult education experience (as teacher or curriculum developer). Seven years technical or professional experience using Oracle products or related software. Strong SQL and PL/SQL knowledge and experience. Knowledge of XML, Java, and J2EE technologies. Experience with Oracle9i Database administration. Knowledge of Oracle9i Application server.

OU recently launched a new offering called training on demand. This is a video based offering for our students to take class anytime, anywhere. This business is a strategic part of OU growth strategy.
You will be responsible to identify and manage a solution to run virtual lab environment for our training on demand labs. This will include working with our IT and cloud teams to identify a solution and manage the environment rollout.
Work on ensuring the environments are available as on demand solution.
The solution will be for our technology, applications and Industry courses. You will get the opportunity to work with the latest technology in cloud and networking and some of the experts in this field.
-Work on identifying a creative solution for students lab environment
-Manage the rollout of each environment
-Manage the usage of environment
-Work with the support team for the support process and be the escalation point
-QA of the environments with the QA team
This role provides you the opportunity to work on a world class video platform and education solution. This will also provide you an opportunity to work with our IT and cloud team to create a solution.
