SUMMARY The Continuous Improvement Project Manager identifies, provides and implements process improvement recommendations and manages related projects to improve operational efficiencies, increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILTIES 1. In collaboration with project team members, identifies and provides process improvement recommendations to improve operational efficiencies, increase customer satisfaction and reduce costs. 2 Develops project plans. Manages project delivery. Assembles project teams. Leads process optimization activities. 3. Implements lean manufacturing and other quality techniques. 4. Business travel, as required (estimated less than 25% of time)
SPECIFIC SKILLS 1. Experience in the implementation of Lean Manufacturing techniques in small to large sized businesses. 2. Project Management experience - strong skills in planning, execution, and sustainability of deployment type projects. Proven experience leading project teams. 3. Facilitation and coaching skills - a good listener and a good teacher; good at persuading direction and instilling confidence. 4. Experience in process optimization. 5. Experience working in a service environment, requiring a customer focused mindset. 6. Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills. 7. A generalist that is also intimately aware of the details required to execute a project e2e. 8. Accustomed with creating business cases and comfortable with basic accounting and finance terminology. 9. Experienced in driving corporate cost reduction through strategic process optimization.
