Devereux is a non-profit organization providing services around the nation for persons with emotional, developmental, and educational disabilities. Devereux, established in 1912 by Helen T. Devereux, is now the largest independent non-profit provider of its kind. Devereux, New York, specifically provides services for individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and psychiatric/behavioral disorders. Devereux, New York, operates a private residential school located in the Mid-Hudson Valley, a day school located in Westchester County, and several group homes throughout the state. Our mission is to provide the highest-quality services in a caring and humane way to foster human potential and to contribute to the individual’s health, social, psychological, and educational well-being.
Our Mid-Hudson Valley location in Red Hook, New York, is seeking an additional full-time Clinician to conduct individual and group therapy for the residential campus. The campus serves approximately 145 children and adolescents. This Clinician will develop and oversee treatment interventions and assist staff with treatment strategies and training. Responsibilities for the successful candidate include conducting functional assessments and creating behavior support plans.

Requirements:
Requirements: MA/MS in Psychology with BCBA Certification, or MSW/LCSW/LMSW, or PsyD/PhD in Psychology. Preference will be given to applicants with experience conducting assessments; experience working with ID/DD/ED populations, child/adolescent populations, and trauma-related disorders; and educational background and treatment experiences with cognitive-behavioral therapy paradigms.
