Care-a-lot Child Care of Farmington is seeking highly motivated, energetic and creative individuals for several positions in our classrooms: (3) Full Time Infant Assistant Teachers (children age 6weeks - 18 months) (1) Part Time Toddler Assistant Teacher -this position may lead to a full time position. (children age 18 months - 24 months) Applicants for these 4 positions must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and be available during the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm Monday-Friday. (No weekends or nights.) (1) Part Time School Age Teacher Applicants must be available 6:30am-9:30am Monday-Friday. Additional hours may be available during school breaks. (Children Kindergarten - 5th grade). Our teachers are responsible for the general supervision of children in collaboration with classroom staff by performing the duties necessary to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating and educational environment for children. A strong commitment to and desire to work with children is an absolute must! Responsibilities include: -adhering to the policies and procedures of Care-a-lot Child Care and New York State licensing regulations -assisting in planning and implementing an age-appropriate program for children -preparing an inviting, clean and organized classroom -developing parent relationships and communicating directly with families on a daily basis -maintaining a positive work climate with coworkers and administrative staff Education/Training: Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associate's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) is desired. Experience: In addition to the above, 1 year of training/experience working in a child care setting is desired.
