Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) Boston Medical Center (BMC) Seeking Chair, Department of Family Medicine BUSM and BMC are seeking a Chair for the Department of Family Medicine. Established in 1997 this successful academic department has strong community-based clinical programs that include inpatient consulting services, an innovative maternity collaboration, a highly selective residency program, and robust research (including a NRSA-funded research fellowship, a large international program, and integrative medicine and disabilities programs). We seek a strong leader with vision and a record of academic accomplishments. Our urban academic medical center is located in the vibrant South End area of Boston on a picturesque medical campus that includes schools of medicine, public health, and dental medicine. Boston Medical Center has strong affiliations with a network of federally qualified community health centers that serve as the home of the Department’s residency and faculty practices.
