As a result of a business expansion, Janssen Inc. is looking to fill a Business Solutions Manager: Hospital and Health Leader Team - Psychiatry role located in Vancouver, BC.

Overview:

The Business Solutions Manager will be accountable for the development and implementation of value based programs and solutions that reflect the vision, mission, goals and strategic direction of the Psychiatry franchise to support the utilization of Long Acting Injectable (LAI) antipsychotics in target institutions.


Responsibilities:

Developing subject matter expertise on healthcare issues, health economics, individual institutional pain points, healthcare metrics and their implications for this customer segment
Conducting thorough customer needs analysis and capturing deep customer insights to identify mutually beneficial solutions to improve hospital quality of care metrics through leveraging LAIs
Creating mutually beneficial customer relationships with key administrators of Mental Health Programs and Services at target institutions (including but not limited to Directors of Psychiatry, Pharmacy, Nursing and ER, VPs of Patient Services, LHIN/RHA Mental Health Leadership teams) that drive development and implementation of institutional LAI solutions in order to enhance institution management of patient base, practice efficiencies, and/or professional development outcomes
Leveraging Process Excellence approaches such as LEAN, Six Sigma and CQI, to identify opportunities for improved patient flow and quality of care leveraging the use of LAIs.
Facilitating institutional adoption of best practice approaches to the use of LAIs
Ensuring hospital formulary funding for Janssen Psychiatry products
Developing relationships with and leveraging industry organizations such as AGHPS, CCHL, AMPQ, CSHP to influence best practice adoption of LAIs
Communicating commercial challenges and opportunities within this market sector to management
Collaborating with business partners including Marketing, Field Management, Clinical Communications, Medical and Government Affairs and Territory Managers to develop and implement institution specific business plan
Managing all administrative tasks including effective and timely budget management, pre-meeting planning, and call management
University degree (science or business related; MSc in Healthcare, Pharmacoeconomics or Clinical Epidemiology or MBA an asset)
At least 5 years of previous experience in Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/Hospital Administration providing strategic program development at an institutional level
Demonstrated ability to design and develop mutually beneficial partnerships in patient management
Proficiency in process excellence approaches such as LEAN, Six Sigma, CQI and their application to quality of care a strong asset
Demonstrated Business acumen
Demonstration of Global Leadership Profile competencies specifically:
