Attack the Network (AtN) CLT Team Lead to join our team in Suffolk, VA.
The Attack the Network (AtN) CLT Team Lead, dual headed as the Lead Scenario & Intelligence Developer, acts in support of the Deputy Director, the Joint Staff, J7, Joint and Coalition Warfighting (DDJSJ7-JCW) Operations Group and other organizations supporting joint training events to develop, supervise, and provide geographically specific and reality based IED network scenarios, threads and injects to support of assigned USJFCOM exercises; participate in assigned USJFCOM exercises and other planning conferences to ensure AtN storylines, threads and injects accurately replicate the supported units future Operational Environment (OE) and support stated training objectives; and, develop, coordinate, and synchronize Level I-IV injects within JMSEL with all USJFCOM, BCTP, MSTP, and C-IED stakeholders. The AtN CLT Lead supervises 8 personnel to accomplish the previously mentioned tasks. The individual will identify and coordinate all Modeling and Simulation (M&S) and Media requirements to support the execution of the Network Defeat storyline during the conduct of the MRX. The Lead Scenario & Intelligence Developer will ensure all Multi-Discipline Intelligence Data Input to JMSEL is closely coordinated with USJFCOM Intelligence during pertinent Intel Scripting Conferences; and, participate in post-MRX After Action Reviews (AAR) and debriefs to gather and analyze Observations, Insights and Lessons (OIL) to combine them with Lessons Learned (LL) in order to improve AtN Syndicate products and processes. The individual will also provide supported units with tailored, fused, and vetted Multi-Discipline Intelligence products prior to and during the MRX to improve situational awareness and fill intelligence gaps relating to identifying and attacking IED networks within their future Areas of Operation.
The incumbent is expected to travel approximately 30% of the time, and foreign travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
• Requires working level knowledge of the COIC Request for Support (RFS) process
• B.S./B.A. and a background as a U.S. Military Intelligence Instructor required - branch of service immaterial
• Must have had multiple tours at various operational levels that include a mix of direct combat & operational planning
• Excellent and well founded, written and oral communication skills to relay analytic process and findings are essential
• Requires twenty (20) years of U.S. military active-duty service working in the intelligence community - branch of service immaterial
• Experience with operations centers, planning cells and operational planning teams at the Division, CJTF, Corps and/or Combatant Command levels
• Mut be knowledgeable in Attack the Network theories and methods and C-IED enablers, COIC capabilities, methodologies, processes and products
• Must possess in-depth understanding of Service/Joint Intelligence processes, procedures and capabilities as well as how IED/Asymmetric networks operate
Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Top Secret level security clearance with SCI access to be selected. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
• Master's Degree is a plus.
• Valid U.S. passport is highly desirable.
• Ops-Intel Fusion experience is preferred.
• Experience in planning Joint C-IED/insurgency operations is desired.
• Experience serving at or working with USJFCOM/DDJSJ7-JCW is highly preferred.
• Experience serving at or working with Members of JIEDDO and/or COIC/JTCOIC a plus.
• Graduate of a Military War College, Joint Forces Staff College, or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Military Intelligence/Operations experience with one or more deployments to a combat zone preferred.
• Experience supervising intelligence personnel analyzing IED threats/ networks and Asymmetric threats is desired.
• Experience with Interagency and other governmental entities and hands-on experience with computer-assisted exercises is highly preferred.
