Description
Are you ready to play a major role in taking AT&T’s mobile apps business to the next level?
The Consumer Data Products group is looking for a multi-faceted individual to help drive new business opportunities in the rapidly evolving mobile application space. This individual will be part of a team focused on driving AT&T’s growth in the third-party mobile application ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with and lead cross-functional teams of product managers, mobile app developers, storefront and billing platform vendors, and CTO to define and deliver policies, processes, and tools that will enable third-party developers to partner with AT&T and get their content to market.
This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future direction of AT&T’s mobile apps business! Your expertise in wireless and/or web-based software product management, coupled with your ability to think and act both at the strategic level as well as work through the details, is needed to position AT&T’s mobile apps business for growth in the fast-changing world of premium downloadable apps.
Primary Responsibilities:
Engage with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand existing operations and design and implement improved processes to onboard developers and content to AT&T’s storefronts
Create and manage key SLA and KPI metrics related to developer and content onboarding and lifecycle management; implement measurement processes to measure and track KPIs on an ongoing basis; Refine and adjust operational processes to achieve defined SLAs
Engage with key mobile apps developers to understand developer concerns related to AT&T business policies and processes and drive change to balance these concerns with AT&T’s strategic objectives
Define vision, product roadmap, and detailed requirements for tools and programs aimed at growing the mobile apps space at AT&T; work with external vendors and internal development teams to manage development of tools to drive new products and programs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Five or more years of related marketing/product experience, ideally in consumer content for wireless or web
Three or more years experience working with wireless devices in either a technical or project management capacity
Three or more years of project management experience
Experience with mobile applications and operating systems
Cross-functional team leadership experience and ability to manage peers and drive results
Product management experience and ability to translate business needs into requirements and drive to execution
Superior written and oral communication skills
Flexible and able to work in dynamic work environments with limited supervision to deliver results
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
