AT&T Mobile Content Merchandising Manager- Redmond, WA
Description
The Senior Merchandising Manager is part of a team responsible for developing and implementing merchandising and publishing strategy within key AT&T apps and services. The person in this role will apply his/her background in merchandising and editorial to define, create and manage compelling merchandising services that engage users, encourage repeat visits and increase app and game downloads.
The Senior Merchandising Manager will work collaboratively across teams to develop effective merchandising programs that provide visibility for apps from AT&T and 3rd party developers. This person will be responsible for managing merchandising to meet key success metrics, tracking usage data to improve performance.
This role will be involved in strategic planning as well as managing day-to-day merchandising operations. This candidate has a strong editorial background, is highly organized, loves a challenge and is detail oriented. If you can write engaging text and can professionally merchandise mobile content, we want to hear from you!
Position is located in Redmond, WA. May consider applicants who reside (and will remain) in locations other than those listed.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
Five or more years experience in a merchandising or editorial role at a major internet company or large consumer content provider
Demonstrated success planning, implementing and managing merchandising programs
Strong editorial skills, including experience writing attention-grabbing headlines
Hands-on experience working with mobile content and web publishing tools
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing priorities and delivering against deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and other standard office computer applications
Desired qualifications:
Experience in mobile content or merchandising
Bachelor's degree
