Business EMC Location(s) US - Washington - Seattle Title Assoc Project Manager I Requisition ID 54706BR Job Description The Global Services Associate Program (GSAP) hires candidates locally and trains them centrally. Our Associates are developed through a structured program that combines intensive training and on-the-job mentored experience. This intensive role based-training includes an introduction to the storage industry, best practices and methodologies and the EMC way of doing business. For technical associates, training includes hands-on work with EMC products and platforms, operating systems and storage infrastructure tools. Associates will also receive the foundation necessary to achieve technical certifications (EMC and Non-EMC). GENERAL SUMMARY As part of the GSAP Program, the Associate Project Manager will work with a team of senior professionals to assist in delivery of ''billable'' Consulting Services for EMC engagements. Responsible for assisting in the management of low risk projects from architectural design through customer turnover. Responsible for the execution of a project plan that articulates the role of EMC in the delivery of the designed solution. Works under the general direction of Project Manager/Senior Project Manager
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintain project quality and focus as directed • Ensure the successful completion of required deliverables/milestones • Develop and manage project plans, SOWs and proposal content developed for the customer based upon customer requirements and system architecture. • Effectively structure and manage cross- functional project teams. • Provide over-arching results, recommendations, and documentation. • Communicates to all EMC concerned parties any existing or potential customer escalation issues • Performs other duties as required
