Departmental Overview The International House is a self-supporting residential and program center for up to 600 international and United States students and scholars from the Berkeley campus. Its mission is to foster intercultural understanding and respect among people throughout the world across cultural, economic, and racial lines. A professional staff, that are University of California employees, supports the mission of the House. In non-employment respects, the Institution functions as a not-for-profit 501C3 educational corporation. Responsibilities Previous management experience in high volume food service environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities to ensure that operational procedures are met. HAACP/Serve Safe training. Demonstrated catering management/production experience. Computer and office equipment experience. Completion of 4-year college degree with emphasis in hospitality management, culinary arts, business or accounting and/or comparable experience. Work experience may be substitute for education and training. Required Qualifications Previous management experience in high volume food service environment.
