Preferred Qualifications A doctorate in a mathematical science at the time of appointment is required, along with demonstrated teaching experience. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching and continuing scholarly activity. Familiarity with liberal arts colleges is desirable. Additional Job Details The successful candidate will teach introductory mathematics and statistics courses and sophomore-level courses for mathematics and science majors. In mathematics, the teaching load is normally three four-hour courses per semester in classes that average 25 students.
