ADJUNCT INFORMATION INSTRUCTOR
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Master?s
Degree in related field with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science or
Information Systems or any comparable equivalent of education and experience. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Previous teaching experience. Networking skills, CCNA certification, and MCSE
certification. Object-oriented and web programming skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to establish and maintain
effective, cooperative working relationships. Ability to work flexible
hours as needed. Ability to work evenings as needed. Knowledge of various
learning styles; knowledge of instructional technologies, and the ability to
teach using technology including in the online environment. Ability to
develop engaging lectures and learning activities. Proficiency with
Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite. Two or more of the
following: A+ certification, Net+ certification, CCNA, MCSE, proficiency with
multiple object oriented programming languages, web programming experience,
proficiency in creating and maintaining databases.
