The University is focused on creating an academic community that educates citizens and leaders who will build a more just, humane, and sustainable pose: The Music Department of Santa Clara University, a Jesuit & Catholic university, invites applications for a Quarterly Adjunct Lecturer to teach one Introduction to Electronic Music class to undergraduate students during the Spring quarter of the 2012/13 academic lifications Master of Music required with preference given to candidates who have completed a PhD or DMA in Electronic Composition/Music Technology, or who have commensurate professional k and Salary Quarterly Adjunct Lecturer; $5700 for the Spring rting Date April 2nd, 2013Application Deadline February 15th, 2013Responsibilities The instructor is responsible for teaching a course that introduces various historical, technological, and pedagogical methods of creating and performing electronic music to undergraduate music majors and minors. Fulfill all responsibilities associated with assigned courses: conduct all assigned class meetings; hold weekly office hours on campus; assign and submit grades to the Registrar by the designated deadline; fulfill other minor instructional or academic duties, such as attending special department events, as may be assigned by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences or the Chair of the Department.
